Campus Dining- Baker
The Baker prepares all bakery products for the Food Court, summer conference buffet service, and Werner University Center food establishments, in addition to producing desserts and other baked goods for catering orders. This position will set-up and break-down toppings for the waffle bar in the Food Court. The baker works with managers/marketing to create signs and is responsible for posting menu signs with pricing for bakery items. This position assists with the supervision of student staff during their scheduled shift, trains and monitors student employees in proper production and portioning techniques in the bakery, and trains student labor regarding compliance with department policies, sanitary and safe food service procedures. The Baker stocks shelves with pastries and desserts and fills in for other production staff as needed.
Campus Dining- Production Catering Coordinator
The Coordinator organizes production and catering services on campus which includes preparing food items for catering banquets and retail dining operations. This position is responsible for the overall coordination, management and delivery of successful events by providing top quality and exceptional customer service experiences. This position is deeply involved with the production and creation of new menu items. The Catering Coordinator provides leadership and training to the catering team to ensure that they carry out each function in a professional manner. This position is responsible for staffing, scheduling, and supervising catering staff.
