(Portland) Disability Rights Oregon (DRO) looking for new Executive Director

Disability Rights Oregon (DRO)

For more than four decades, Disability Rights Oregon has served as our state's Protection & Advocacy agency. The impact that it's had promoting and defending the rights of Oregonians with disabilities has been remarkable.

As chairperson of its Board of Directors, I'm able to watch the organization's work unfold up close and ensure that it's equipped for future success.

Disability Rights Oregon is approaching a moment of tremendous change. After three decades of leading the organization to where it stands today, Executive Director Bob Joondeph is retiring. His leadership has played an integral role in fostering DRO's reputation as a highly respected advocacy organization that works to improve the lives of Oregonians with disabilities.

With his upcoming departure, we seek a new Executive Director to lead the organization, by building on its past success and charting a course toward an even more promising future.

Job Posting

We encourage you to share the job posting across your networks. Applications will be accepted until Friday, July 20. If you have any questions regarding the process, please call me (503.504.0318). As Search Committee Chair, I will do my best to answer your questions and shepherd this process forward.

Thank you for all that you do to support this organization.
