I'm very excited to announce that the City of Portland has kicked off its executive recruitment search, starting with the City Budget Director and the Housing Director.
We will also soon be posting an opening for a Director of the Office of Equity and Human Rights, as well as other Director positions (Parks & Recreation, Transportation, Planning & Sustainability).
Please get the word out to qualified leaders with disabilities! The City of Portland (and me!) would like to strongly encourage experienced people with disabilities to apply.
These Director positions will be a phenomenal opportunity for someone who is a visionary, an experienced change agent, and an equity champion. Maybe they are Directors now, or maybe they are someone who is ready to become one. More details can be found in the postings.
This is a one-time email announcement - don't worry, I won't flood your inboxes. However, if you are interested in staying updated and/or want to help spread the word to disability leaders, please let me know, and I'll send you updates when new Director positions are posted, including the Office of Equity and Human Rights.
Please feel free to email me questions if you or others are interested in applying, and don't hesitate to share this message far and wide.
