Summer Job Opportunity for ASL Interpreters and Students

Northwest Youth Corps (NYC) is looking to hire leaders who are fluent in American Sign Language to work with the ASL Inclusion Crew Program this summer.

Who We Are

Established in 1984, Northwest Youth Corps is a non-profit organization whose core purpose is to provide opportunities for youth and young adults to learn, grow, and experience success. NYC is the Pacific Northwest's largest and oldest outdoor conservation and youth education program, and serves youth from all backgrounds. For 30 years, NYC has empowered and developed over 17,000 youth and leaders through teamwork, environmental education, and outdoor experience.

What We Do

Northwest Youth Corps programs combine education and job skill training with outdoor adventure for ages 16 to 19. Under staff supervision, youth crew members work on conservation, reforestation, and recreation projects while learning valuable lessons of teamwork and responsibility. Crews camp in the field for 5-6 weeks, traveling from project to project throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
