WOU hosts ASL City on March 8th

ASL CITY

WHAT:
ASL CITY IS A STUDENT LED EVENT PUT ON BY THE 'WOU ASL CLUB.' STUDENTS WILL WORK TO CREATE A FICTIONAL CITY, WITHIN THE ASL AND DEAF COMMUNITY, WHERE ASL IS THE PRIMARY LANGUAGE. THE GOAL IS TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT DEAF CULTURE AND AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE. COME JOIN US AND LEARN ABOUT ASL AND DEAF CULTURE BY VISITING VARIOUS BOOTHS INCLUDING A DEAF MUSEUM, STORE, BANK, THEATER, ART GALLERY, AND MORE!
