At National Interpreting Service, we value integrity, equality, fairness, and mutual respect. We choose interpreters that are a best fit for each individual situation in order to provide the best communication possible. We have a large database of certified interpreters. All of the interpreters we provide are RID Certified Sign Language Interpreters and are skilled, ethical, and professional. If you know in advance you would like a specific interpreter, we will do our best to accommodate your preference.
CYNTHIA ANDERSON is the founder, owner and President of National Interpreting Service, Inc. dba Anderson Interpreting Service. Cynthia has been working as a private practice sign language interpreter since 1993, providing interpreting services for a variety of clients in the Willamette Valley, OR and the greater Salem area of Oregon. She earned her BS with Summa Cum Laude honors from Western Oregon State College 1993 and her NAD III national interpreting certification in 1991 as well as her RID certifications CI and CT in 1993. Cynthia has a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Special Education.
Cynthia is also a member of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), Oregon Association of the Deaf (OAD), and the Oregon Chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (ORID). National Interpreting Service strongly believes in supporting the Deaf community.
