(Vancouver) Joshua Castille: A Rising Broadway Star
Joshua Castille is a Deaf Performance artist based out of Los Angeles, California. He will be telling the story of his journey from small town Louisiana to Broadway where he performed in the Deaf West production of Spring Awakening. Joshua has worked on various projects in a variety of roles including actor, director, ASL master, set designer and creative contributor. He recently starred as Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle and in March 2019 he will play Romeo at ACT in Seattle in a production which is a collaboration between Deaf and hearing communities. Joshua is coming to WSD to raise funds for the Deaf Education Advocates Foundation ( DEAF) , an organization which provides funding for enrichment activities at the Washington School for the Deaf.
