Prescribes requirements for Oregon Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Services Program.
Status: The committee passed with the “Do-Pass” recommendation and referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Requires Department of Human Services to administer program to make support service providers available to individuals who are deaf-blind.
Status: The Committee had passed with no opposition and referred to the Joint Ways and Means Committee for reassignment to one of Joint Ways and Means Committee’s subcommittees for a public hearing.

Expands Telecommunication Devices Access Program to include provision of communication facilitators.
Status: Passed Full House and referred to Senate Committee on Business and General Government for scheduling a public hearing. The due date to get out of that committee is on May 25, 2019.

An Act to direct Division of Motor Vehicles to provide that information may be included in the Oregon vehicle registration system indicating that the operator of the vehicle may be deaf or hard of hearing
