Hello, my name is Jackie Fontaine. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin-Superior; my faculty mentor and I are conducting research about the experiences of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people when seeking healthcare. This research is attempting to understand how culture and accessibility might affect a person’s likelihood of seeking help for physical and mental health.
